A 15-year-old was reportedly kidnapped and held for several hours in a car, threatened by his parents' parents.

A youthful love affair that turns into family conflict.

A couple in their thirties and their 15-year-old daughter were taken into custody in Mureaux (Yvelines) for kidnapping, forcible confinement and death threats.

They allegedly tried to put pressure on the teenager's boyfriend, to prevent him from dating her.

The scene, to say the least unusual, would have taken place in the Jean-Rommeis alley at the end of the day on Wednesday.

While walking with a friend, a 15-year-old was reportedly forced into a Mercedes by his girlfriend's parents, in her girlfriend's presence.

In passing, a slap was reportedly given to the young girl who accompanied him in the street.

Detainees deny forcing the boy into the car

"They forced him to show in the vehicle and turned for a few hours," said a source familiar with the matter.

The youngster was not physically assaulted, but he and his family were reportedly threatened.

The couple would not accept the relationship between the teenagers.

For reasons still unclear, he would have gone so far as to threaten the boy and his parents with death if he did not stop seeing their daughter, implying that people could attack them.

Then they would have released him at the Sautour park.

Arrested on Wednesday evening, the father, aged 36, was joined in custody by his wife and daughter on Thursday since they were both present at the time of the facts. They were then heard. “They say they did nothing, and that the youngster was willing to get in the car and discuss,” concludes the same source.
