A 37-year-old man was indicted and placed in detention Thursday, in particular for manslaughter aggravated by a hit-and-run after the death of a cyclist, we learned Thursday, June 17 from the Orléans prosecutor's office.

During the night from Saturday to Sunday, a vehicle had struck two cyclists in Fleury-les-Aubrais, on the outskirts of Orleans, before fleeing.
One of the cyclists, aged 45, died, and the other, a 49-year-old woman, was
"seriously injured"
, according to the press release.
Arrested Tuesday, the alleged driver of the vehicle was also indicted for unintentional injuries aggravated by a hit and run.
