Mexican justice sentenced Thursday to 32 years and three months in prison a second perpetrator of the murder in May 2017 of Mexican journalist Javier Valdez, a collaborator of AFP, announced the prosecution.

The judge in charge of the case handed down
"a sentence of 32 years and three months in prison against Juan Francisco 'P', for his criminal responsibility as a major co-perpetrator in the murder of a journalist from the State of Sinaloa"
the general prosecutor's office said in a statement.
