You don't need to go to the authorities to fill up here: The Miesbach district office, together with Energie Südbayern (ESB), has put a new e-charging station into operation at the registration office.

Miesbach

- The charging station has an output of 22 kW, two electric cars can tap into it at the same time.

The juice that flows from the plugs into the batteries is produced 100 percent from hydropower and therefore completely ecologically.

"The e-charging station is a contribution made by us as a district to the energy transition and towards more sustainability," said District Administrator Olaf von Löwis during the commissioning.

Mona Dürrschmidt, Mobility Manager at the District Office, is actively involved in shaping the topic of electric mobility in the district.

Part of the authority's fleet of company cars already consists of electric vehicles.

Use and payment by app or card

The charging station is activated using a smartphone app or an RFID card in credit card format.

By working with the online portal www.ladenetz.de, the station accepts a large number of charging cards and apps from various providers and roaming partners and is therefore connected to a Europe-wide network.

Thanks to the wide range of access options, "the entire charging and payment process is quick and easy for both occasional customers and regular customers," reports the district office.

Due to the location near Miesbacher Stadtplatz, charging the e-car can not only be combined with a visit to the registration office or another department of the district office, but also, for example, with shopping in the city center.

By the way, parking is free of charge while refueling.
