Some 744 kilos of cocaine, valued at more than $ 18 million, were seized in El Salvador during an operation to dismantle trafficking networks operating in particular on the beaches of the country, announced the prosecution on Thursday.
These drug traffickers operated in the regions of La Paz but also San Miguel, in the east of this country wedged between Honduras and Guatemala.
A total of nine people were arrested during the operation carried out on Wednesday and Thursday, including a Guatemalan national.
