The Latin Grammys return to Las Vegas for the 22nd edition of the awards. The ceremony will take place on Thursday, November 18.

The 2021 Latin Grammys will return to Las Vegas.

This was announced by the Latin Recording Academy this Thursday through a statement.

The ceremony for the 22nd edition of the awards will take place on Thursday, November 18 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

For 2020, the night that awards the best of Latin music, he moved to the city of Miami.

A change that was due to the coronavirus pandemic and that, although it was a face-to-face event, did not have an audience.

"The past year was full of unknowns, but also new opportunities for those who adapted quickly," said Gabriel Abaroa Jr., president and CEO of The Latin Recording Academy, through a statement.

“We drew strength from music to welcome back our invincible Latino music-loving community for the 13th year to Las Vegas, to celebrate our culture, ethnicity and diversity, and to recognize excellence in music, strength that we it helps heal and continue to bond, ”Abaroa Jr. said in a statement.

The nominees and the night of the Person of the Year of the Latin Grammy

The Latin Recording Academy will announce the nominees for this edition on September 28.

Productions released between June 1, 2020 and May 31, 2021 are eligible for a nomination.

Regarding the Latin Grammy Person of the Year, the ceremony will take place the night before the awards, on Wednesday, November 17.

In 2021, the Latin Grammys will pay tribute to the life and career of Rubén Blades.

This celebration will take place at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.

In the United States, the 22nd installment of the Latin Grammy can be seen through Univisión.

In Latin America, it will be broadcast on TNT, part of WarnerMedia, our parent company.
