The summit between Biden and Putin opens the possibility of resuming the diplomatic path, says UNAM academic
Before the watchful eye of world public opinion, the presidents of the United States and Russia met this Wednesday in Geneva, Switzerland.
Both leaders rated the encounter positive.
Silvia Núñez, an academic at UNAM, points out that "celebrating this in Geneva speaks well of the two leaders, because they are pointing to the possibility of resuming the diplomatic path beyond the enormous differences between the two nations."
