According to the Center for Health Protection, the 38-year-old male crew member (#11883) arrived in Hong Kong on Swissair flight LX138 from Cyprus the day before (16th).

He is asymptomatic and carries the N501Y variant virus strain.

Two 39-year-old foreign domestic helpers (#11884, #11885) arrived in Hong Kong from Indonesia on Garuda Indonesia flight GA876 the day before.

Among them, #11884 became ill the day before; and #11885 has no symptoms, but was found to carry the L452R variant virus strain.

The pet chinchilla of a 17-year-old girl (#11852) in Tin Shing Court, Tin Shui Wai, was diagnosed earlier and was taken away by the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department and is undergoing quarantine and veterinary medical monitoring.
