EU Commission: AstraZeneca still lacks 50 million doses

"The Brussels Court of First Instance has decided to grant precautionary measures in the proceeding against AstraZeneca by the European Commission and the 27 EU member states. The court orders AstraZeneca to urgently deliver 50 million doses of the vaccine by 27 September 2021. , according to a binding schedule: 15 million doses by July 26; 20 million doses by August 23; 15 million doses by September 27. In case of non-compliance with these delivery terms AstraZeneca will have to pay a penalty of 10 euros per dose not delivered ". A note from the EU Commission reads ".
