These symptoms do not differ from the symptoms of the strains that preceded the “Delta” mutant, as people infected with the Corona virus often lose their senses of smell and taste, but the difference with the new mutant is that he added another sense to the list of lost items, which is the sense of hearing that the patient may be exposed to during his illness.

The most important thing that makes the Delta mutant more dangerous than others is its ability to resist vaccines, which was expressed by White House spokesman Kevin Munoz when he announced that the Delta mutant is a worrying alternative and that the risks are great for those who have not been vaccinated.

In turn, the Public Health Authority in Britain announced last week that the total number of infections with the “Delta” strain in the country rose by 29,892 cases to 42,323 injuries, and that more than 90 percent of new cases were due to this boom, which prompted British Prime Minister Boris Johnson to postpone lifting the restrictions that had been imposed on him. It was imposed in the country as part of measures to tackle the Corona virus until the 19th of next month.

Johnson confirmed, according to what was reported by the Associated Press, that the speed of the outbreak of the new mutant is greater than that stipulated in the map to stop the precautionary measures last February, stressing the importance of waiting until the nineteenth of next July to give the health system the necessary additional time.

In a new analysis of the British Health Authority, it was revealed that 29 percent of deaths from the “Delta” strain received two doses of the vaccine, and that among the 42 Britons who died as a result of infection, 12 of them received both doses of the vaccine, while the other 23 did not receive the vaccine, while seven got People received the first dose of the vaccine more than 21 days before their death.

The authority's data also showed that the effectiveness of the vaccine against infection with the "Delta" strain is 33% after receiving one dose, bringing the percentage to 81% after receiving the second dose.
