Brazil recorded 74,042 new infections and 2,311 deaths from the Corona virus during the past 24 hours.
According to the latest data from the World Meters website, the total number of HIV infections in the country since the beginning of the pandemic has reached 17,704,041, while the total number of deaths has reached 496,172 cases.
Brazil ranks third in the world in terms of the number of HIV infections after the United States and India, and the second in the number of deaths after the United States.
In Mexico, 168 deaths and 4,253 new infections with the Corona virus were recorded, bringing the total number of infections to 2,467,643 and deaths to 230,792 cases.
