According to the Hospital Authority, whether it is a compassionate or emergency visit, or a special visit arrangement in a non-acute hospital, if the visitor has completed two doses of vaccination for more than 14 days, the virus test can be exempted.
In addition, the relevant exemption arrangements are also applicable to all patients who use day medical services and have completed two doses of vaccinations, including hemodialysis centers and day hospitals for the elderly.
Starting from June 21, visitors and day medical service patients who have received two injections for no less than 14 days will be exempted from regular or advance virus testing.

The HA also pointed out that in order to reduce the risk of infection for patients and staff in the hospital, one-time visitors must have a negative nucleic acid test result within 72 hours. If they visit regularly, they can be tested every week.
