The abstention rate could well be historic.

According to an Ifop poll for LCI published on Friday, 60% of voters may not go to the polls on Sunday.
It would then be a record of abstention for a first round of regional elections, well above the 50.09% recorded in 2015, and even the impressive 53.67% in 2010.
“Even if the behavior abstainer is difficult to decipher, it seems almost certain that it will be in the majority.
