For this edition, the PS dreams of strong stability.
The main objective is to keep its five regions: Nouvelle-Aquitaine, Occitanie, Brittany, Bourgogne-Franche-Comté and Center-Val de Loire.
And in all cases, regional or departmental, the PS gives itself the mission of arriving at the head of the left in the first round.

After losing two important ones in 2015, Île-de-France and Hauts-de-France, two new regions are nevertheless in the hot seat: Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, led by Marie-Guite Dufay and Center- Loire Valley, directed by François Bonneau.
In the latter region, the candidate of the National Rally, Aleksandar Nicolic, is placed at the head of the polls in the first round.
Behind, the candidate of the PS, that of LREM-Modem, Marc Fesneau, and that of LR, Nicolas Forissier, are neck and neck.
The PS is also closely monitoring the situation in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, even if a latest survey gives the outgoing executive a winner.
