It is a sample (another) of the ups and downs of Argentine politics and public opinion.
The
three great stars of the 2015 presidential election
, who won almost 93% of the votes in that first round, today remain last in an image ranking.
They measured 23 leaders and they were last ... comfortable.
The survey that brings this annoying table to
Sergio Massa
,
Daniel Scioli
and
Mauricio Macri
is from
Real Time Data (RTD)
, a consultancy that was born in 2019 and makes daily update measurements.
It has clients in the country and abroad.
Between June 1 and 8, it surveyed
951 cases
, with a credibility margin of +/- 4%.
The work report ("State of Argentine public opinion") begins with a
decalogue with the main conclusions
.
Top 10
1. "The June measurement records an increase of one point in the approval of President Alberto Fernández. In this way, the index is parked above the 40-point mark, consolidating last month's rebound."
2. "The recovery of the indicators of support for the Government coincides with the revaluation of the health issue on the public agenda: four out of ten Argentines said in June that the Covid should be the Government's priority, even above the economy."
3. "In any case, the economy continues to be the problem that most affects Argentines. In June, 61% of those interviewed mentioned inflation, unemployment or the economic downturn as the main problems that affect them personally."
4. "The prospects for economic recovery remain very depressed. Only 2% of those interviewed believe that the economy will rebound this year, while 22% expect a recovery in 2022 and a majority 54% in 2023."
5. "In accordance with proposals and statements by government spokesmen, the proportion of people who agree with greater state intervention in the business world as a way to reactivate the economy has been increasing (9 pts. In 60 days)."
Alberto Fernández, visiting Salta, for the 200th anniversary of the death of Güemes.
It improved its image a bit according to RTD.
6. "Despite this, the annual ranking of large Argentine companies prepared by Real Time Data indicates that Mercado Libre and Arcor improved their images compared to 2020, while YPF and Aerolineas Argentinas fell in the year-on-year comparison."
7. "Spain, Patagonia, the United States, Uruguay, Cuyo, Italy and Canada are the destinations most mentioned by the interviewees in case they could move anywhere to escape the pandemic and the economic crisis."
8.
"In the ranking of leaders with more positive image, Horacio Rodriguez Larreta remains at the top of the list 55%. The escorting María Eugenia Vidal and Alberto Fernandez, with 46% each."
9. "Facing the legislative elections, 34% of those interviewed said they would vote for the Frente de Todos, three points more than the 31% who said they would vote for Together for Change."
10. "The electoral openings show that the ruling party takes an important advantage in the Buenos Aires suburbs, is widely surpassed in the Capital and presents a picture of parity with Together for Change in the districts of the interior of the country."
Only four approved and three from the fund
The table of images of the consulting firm headed by political scientist
Nicolás Solari
includes 23 leaders.
Clarín
split it (almost) to the middle, with the 12 best and the top 11 of the worst.
Although the balance is rather poor for the majority:
only four finished with an image differential in favor (more positive than negative)
.
The one who
leads this ranking is Facundo Manes
, the radical neuroscientist who stressed (even more) the intern of Juntos por el Cambio, admitting that this time he could be a candidate in the Province.
Without having entered fully into the mud of politics, he arrives with a very good image, in this and other polls.
Even outside the Buenos Aires territory.
In the
RTD
survey
,
Manes combines 46% positive and 26% negative
, which leaves him with a balance of + 20. And still with a fairly high lack of knowledge.
The
other three "privileged" are Larreta, Mario Negri and Diego Santilli
.
- The head of government, today embarked on a
fight for the opposition leadership with Macri
, ends with a balance of 13 points in favor (55% positive and 42% negative).
- Negri, head of the interblock of deputies of Together for Change and who
continues to sound like a possible candidate for senator in Córdoba
, has + 6 balance: 39% positive and 33% negative.
- While the Buenos Aires deputy chief, already launched
to make the leap to the province of Buenos Aires
(in 2021, but especially 2023 as governor), adds 41% in favor and 37% against (balance of + 4).
On the other side of the table, the one in
dark red, the worst are the three former presidential candidates: Massa, Macri and Scioli
.
In that order.
- The
head of the Chamber of Deputies
, transformed into a key leader in the Government of the Frente de Todos,
cannot reverse the fall in his image
, produced by his comings and goings with Kirchnerism (ally-enemy-ally) in a period of time short marked by the crack.
In this study it adds 35% positive and 65% negative
(differential - 30)
.
-
Macri
, for his part, had reached its
climax before public opinion at the end of 2017
, when Cambiemos won the legislative elections and
since then its weighting began to fall
, in parallel with the economy. It has been
stabilized for
some time
, but with a clear balance against it
. Here, with
- 36 points
(32% positive and 68% negative).
- The
Scioli
thing
was also abrupt
.
But he suffered the great statistical depression just after losing the presidential election.
Despite this, in the absence of electoral figures, a sector of the ruling party is measuring the current ambassador in Brazil as a potential candidate for one of the two Buenos Aires.
For
RTD
, today it combines 28% valuation in favor and 68% against
(differential - 40
).
In the middle are:

).
12 °
Axel Kicillof
+ 42% and - 56% (

).
At the
bottom of the ranking
, together with the former 2015 and with a striking tie between Máximo Kirchner and Elisa Carrió, they
complete
:
13th

+ 42% and - 57% (
- 15
