Police are looking for a suspect who allegedly killed three people in three separate violent episodes in North Bend, a small town in Oregon.
He ran over one of them, shot another in a marijuana store, and shot another before stealing her truck.
Authorities, who said the man is armed and poses a danger, searched the forest for him and asked local residents to stay indoors.
According to the sheriff's office, the man is about six feet tall, weighs 200 pounds, and has short hair.
He is wearing a T-shirt and dark pants.

The suspect
first struck a person
with a pickup truck in a trailer park in the coastal city of North Bend, about 220 miles (354 kilometers) southwest of Portland, according to The Oregonian newspaper.
A woman was also injured and taken to a hospital in critical condition, Coos County Prosecutor Paul Frasier said at a news conference.

Minutes after the hit-and-run,
a person was shot to death in a marijuana store,
according to police.
Authorities believe the same suspect is responsible for both the hit-and-run and the shooting.
Following this violent episode, the suspect went to a nearby sporting goods store and bought more ammunition, according to police.

Authorities returned to the trailer park and found a third body, Frasier said.
Although the prosecutor did not mention how the victim died, he assured:
"I have no doubt that this person died from homicidal violence."
None of the victims have been identified;
It is not clear what connection they have to the suspect, if any, Frasier said.

Hours earlier, police began searching for a 2019 white Dodge 3500 pickup that was later found on a highway in the community of Noti, north of where the killings took place.
The vehicle had crashed and been set on fire, according to Frasier.
A witness told investigators that the driver appeared to be armed with a handgun at the time of the crash and had run into the woods.
