Munich

- The weekend starts with good news: The incidence in Bavaria has fallen slightly again.

On Saturday the RKI reported a value of 11.3.

For comparison: the day before, it was 12. With the nationwide national average of 9.6, the Free State can currently not quite keep up.

Corona in Bavaria: No new infections in Straubing, Amberg-Sulzbach and Wunsiedel

On the other hand, the corona incidence fell to zero on Saturday in two Bavarian districts and one city.

In Straubing, as well as in the districts of Amberg-Sulzbach and Wunsiedel, there were no new infections in the past week, reports the RKI.

Moments, there is only one municipality among the 96 districts and urban districts in the Free State with an incidence of over 50: the problem child Schweinfurt in Lower Franconia at 58. Compared to the previous day, the value in Bavaria's Corona * hotspot has even increased a good bit.

On Friday it was still 52.4.

Small consolation: After all, Schweinfurt is no longer the German frontrunner.

In this regard, the city was replaced by the Rhineland-Palatinate Zweibrücken.

Here the infection rate on Saturday is 61.4.
