Many high school graduates can finally breathe a sigh of relief after months of fear and buffalos.

In the six high schools in the district, the Abi grades were announced on Friday - and they can be seen.

The school principals are also satisfied in the Corona year.

District

- Finally the time had come. The long wait came to an end for the high school graduates in the district on Friday. In the auditorium or in the inner courtyard, the upper school coordinators distributed an A4 sheet of paper with the grades to the students. While this means the long-awaited freedom for most, others will have to wait until next week's review to celebrate.

"I'm very satisfied. Around a third of the high school graduates achieved an average of 1.9 or better, ”says Elmar Beyersdörfer, head of the Landschulheim Kempfenhausen. The 74 students achieved an overall average of 2.15. There was no 1.0 this year - but two 1.2 styles. The students especially struggled with the math exams. "It is noticeable that this year there are many students who have scored zero points in math," says Beyersdörfer. That means: re-examination. 15 high school graduates have to prove their knowledge in an oral test next week. However, the director is confident that all will pass the high school diplomas.

The neighboring high school in Starnberg even set a school record this year.

“We are incredibly proud,” says Upper School Coordinator Monika Baum.

Five students achieve a dream grade of 1.0.

“Usually we have two or three students who can do it.” Many high school graduates were able to pick up a slip of paper with a one before the decimal point.

One reason for the good performance: “The grades in the second half of the twelfth grade were very good.

Since the students only wrote exams in the written Abitur exams, they were able to use the time to prepare for the Abitur, ”says Baum.

Of the 89 graduates, fewer than ten have to take the re-examination.

Certification plan still open

In just under a month, the high school graduates in Starnberg will go to high school for the last time. It is still unclear how exactly the certificate will be awarded on Friday, July 16. “We're still waiting for the instructions from the ministry,” says Baum. Last year the students celebrated in small groups in the gym. It is also conceivable that the event will take place in the inner courtyard this year. "We'll decide that together with the year-end speakers."

The headmistress of the Otto-von-Taube-Gymnasium in Gauting does not yet have a precise plan for the awarding of certificates. “Personally, I think we'll organize it like last year,” says Sylke Wischnevsky. A small celebration in the auditorium, divided into four or five groups. Overall, the director is satisfied with the Abitur. Four of the 103 students have to take the re-examination, seven made an average of 1.0. “Last year, more than half of the students had a one before the decimal point. I think it will be similar this year, ”says Wischnevsky.

The headmasters of the grammar schools in Tutzing and Dießen, Andreas Thalmaier and Alfred Lippl, can also be proud of their high school graduates.

“There are a lot of good grades,” says Thalmaier.

“A few just scratched 1.0.” Of the approximately 85 high school graduates from the Ammersee-Gymnasium, one achieved the top grade.

By far the greatest number of students completed their Abitur in Gilching.

According to director Peter Mayer, the average of 2.13 is significantly higher than last year's result.

"I am more than thrilled," writes the school principal in a press release.
