In Munich, hundreds of people gathered on the streets on Saturday night and blocked everything.
The police are taking action.
Munich - Hundreds of people used the warm summer weather in the state capital on Friday evening and Saturday night to celebrate on the streets of Munich.
The police disbanded a large gathering of 700 to 1000 partiers in the area of Türkenstrasse around Georg-Elser-Platz.
Hundreds of people celebrating in Munich: police take action
Previously, residents had reported to the guard about disturbance of the peace and reported about wild urination.
According to the police, Türkenstrasse in Maxvorstadt was partly so overcrowded that road traffic could no longer get through.
"We were not surprised," the dpa quotes an official at the celebration.
In recent months there have been large gatherings of people on the weekends around Georg-Elser-Platz, who partied until late at night.
Unsightly legacies of the partiers
On Friday, the police were on duty with almost 30 patrol cars and a support squad.
At around 02.20 a.m. the street was cleared with loudspeaker announcements.
Most of the celebrants followed the request.
However, some had to be expelled from the site.
But even here it remained peaceful, according to the police.
Shortly after 3 a.m. everything was quiet.
However, an ugly memento remained: the partiers left a lot of rubbish.
That is why the street cleaning department went out that night.
Last month there were frequent gatherings of people on the weekend around Georg-Elser-Platz.
