Khatibzadeh pointed out that the British police had failed in their duty to secure polling stations and voters, pointing out that there were media channels broadcasting from Britain in Persian that incited Iranians to boycott the elections and launch popular protests.
Some people had organized a demonstration in front of the Iranian embassy in London and threw paint on those entering the embassy to vote in the presidential elections.
