The Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei, today congratulated the Iranian people on the completion of the presidential elections, stressing that the people are the big winners in them.
In a statement issued on this occasion, Khamenei said: “The epic participation in the elections constitutes another bright page for the glories of the Iranian people.” And the determination to maintain the security of the country.
The head of the Presidential Elections Commission in Iran, Jamal Araf, had announced earlier that the preliminary results indicated that candidate Ibrahim Raisi had obtained 17 million and 800,000 votes to lead the presidential elections by a wide margin over the rest of his competitors.
