In Myanmar, numerous people demonstrated with flowers in their hair on Saturday to show their support for the disempowered and detained Prime Minister Aung San Suu Kyi.
The reason for the nationwide so-called »flower strike« was the 76th birthday of the popular politician, who usually presents herself with fresh flowers in her hair, as reported by local media.
"I want her to know how much people love her," said Yin Yin protester in the largest city of Yangon.
Photos of people with flower arrangements could also be seen on social networks.
