- In its constituent meeting on June 9th, the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen Chamber of Industry and Commerce regional committee elected Renate Waßmer, chairwoman of the Sparkasse Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen, as its new chairwoman. The 52-year-old succeeds Reinhold Krämmel, chairman of the supervisory board of the Krämmel group of companies, who had not stood for election after ten years at the top.
The members of the regional committee elected Kilian Willibald, managing director of Kilian Willibald GmbH from Lenggries, and Gerhard Meinl, managing director of Geretsrieder GAM Beratungs- und Beteiligungs GmbH, as their deputy chairmen.
IHK general manager Manfred Gößl congratulated the newly elected board via video and addressed a greeting to all members of the regional committee.

In her inaugural address, the new chairman praised the services of the former regional committee: "Thanks to her good and successful cooperation with our partners in politics, business and society, a solid foundation for our work in the next five years has been laid," she said.
"I look forward to continuing what has been achieved so far with the members of the committee, expanding it and aligning it with new challenges."

Strong, committed entrepreneurs with regional roots are represented in the committee. This creates the best prerequisites for giving the local economy a powerful voice and thus helping to shape the future of our district. In October, the IHK regional committee will meet for its first working session to discuss and define the guidelines for the next five years.
At the IHK election between April 9th and May 7th, more than 11,000 companies in the district were called upon to allocate the 15 seats in the IHK regional committee. Seven candidates entered the newly elected committee for the first time. Eight previous members who had run again were re-elected. As stated in a press release, the IHK is the legal representative of the commercial economy. Its task is to look after the general interests of the tradespeople, to work for their promotion and to carry out around 80 public tasks assigned by the state.
