Clashes broke out today (Saturday) between residents of Deir al-Assad in the Galilee and border police, in which a 26-year-old policeman was moderately injured by a stone thrown from a height. MDA staff evacuated him to the Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya.

Apparently there are other policemen in the arena who were injured and one resident who was hit by gunfire.

In addition, the rioters set fire to two police vehicles.

The settlement claims that the clashes broke out after police entered the wedding and did not leave when asked to leave the incident.
