The Palestinian Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Commission has warned of the deterioration of the health of the prisoner, Ghazanfar Abu Atwan, as a result of the arbitrary practices of the Israeli occupation against him, foremost of which is deliberate medical negligence.
The authority clarified in a statement today, reported by Wafa Agency, that the captive Abu Atwan, 28, from the town of Dura in Hebron, who has been detained since October last year and has been on hunger strike for the 46th consecutive day, suffers from wasting, fatigue, fatigue, permanent headaches, dizziness and joint pain, as he lost several kilograms of his weight and became suffering from a lack of fluid percentage in the body, which poses a threat to his life.
About 5,300 Palestinian prisoners inside Israeli jails face harsh detention conditions, including about 550 prisoners who need urgent medical intervention.
