The Rhône on heat wave alert
At the end of the morning, the first thunderstorms broke out over the near Atlantic and reached the Aquitaine coast, succeeding the calm weather of this Saturday morning.
Most of the new stormy offensive is expected in the afternoon, underlines Météo France.
The thunderstorms will intensify in the early afternoon with strong electrical activity, intense rains (20 to 50 mm in a short time), hail and gusts of wind often close to 80 km / h.
These may occasionally exceed 100 km / h.
These thunderstorms will move towards Belgium during the next night.
Météo France also keeps the Rhône department on orange vigilance for heatwaves.
This heat wave episode is "early for the season", "but not exceptional in duration and intensity", specifies the forecaster.

They will oscillate between 24 and 29 from Hauts de France to Aquitaine and Occitanie and another 29 to 33 degrees further east.
