The weather in Hong Kong is extremely hot, with high temperatures of 30 degrees Celsius or above recorded in many districts in the afternoon.

The Observatory predicts that tomorrow (20th) will be very hot during Father's Day. The highest temperature in the urban area will reach 33 degrees, and the highest temperature in Sheung Shui will be 35 degrees.

The high temperature will continue until next Monday (21st), with the highest temperature reaching 33 degrees Celsius.

Showers will increase next Tuesday, and the rain will sometimes be heavy for the next one or two days.

The Observatory recorded 32.2 degrees Celsius at 4:50 pm. The Observatory indicated that a southwesterly airstream was affecting the coast of Guangdong.

The weather in Hong Kong is very hot. According to the regional weather of the Observatory, at 5 pm, temperatures in many districts were recorded at 30 degrees Celsius or above. Among them, Sheung Shui even recorded 34.2 degrees Celsius and Yuen Long also recorded 33.6 degrees Celsius.

The Observatory predicts that the weather in Hong Kong will be generally fine today, but there will be one or two showers.

The lowest temperature is about 29 degrees Celsius.

On Father's Day (20th), the highest temperature in Sheung Shui Liu reached 35 degrees Celsius.

Father's Day is very hot with showers

Tomorrow (20th) is Father's Day. The Observatory is expected to be very hot during the day, but there will be one or two showers. The highest temperature in the urban area is about 33 degrees Celsius, and another one or two degrees higher in the New Territories.

According to the regional weather forecast of the Observatory, at about 4 pm tomorrow, the Sheung Shui area is expected to be as high as 35 degrees Celsius, and 33 degrees Celsius will be recorded in many areas.

The extremely hot weather is expected to continue until next Monday. The Observatory said that a trough of low pressure is expected to bring heavy showers and thunderstorms to southern China in the middle and late next week. It will be cloudy from next Tuesday with a few showers and thunderstorms; next Wednesday and Thursday ( 23rd and 24th), the Observatory’s "probability of significant rain" is predicted to be "high", and the maximum temperature is 30 degrees Celsius.

The observatory predicts that there will be no sunshine until next Saturday (26th).
