The new platform of the Tuen Ma Line at Hung Hom Station will be opened tomorrow. East Rail passengers transfer to the West Rail at Hung Hom Station and need to go to the new platform level through the station concourse before they can transfer to the West Rail Line. The new arrangement is to prepare for the full opening of the Tuen Ma Line on June 27. From tomorrow, West Rail will continue to use Hung Hom Station as its terminal. However, after all passengers have disembarked, trains with no passengers will continue to run. Tak Station was converted to the first phase of the Tuen Ma Line and continued to operate, allowing the trains to operate in accordance with the daily train schedule for the full opening of the Tuen Ma Line.

From tomorrow, East Rail passengers need to take the escalator to the station lobby and follow the instructions to the new platform.

Hung Hom Station will be marked in the colors of the relevant railway lines. The East Rail Line is light blue and the West Rail Line is purple (it will be changed to brown when the Tuen Ma Line opens to traffic on June 27), instructing passengers to go to each Corresponding platform.

The station lobby will also be upgraded with 18 access gates and 12 ticket vending machines.
