The World Health Organization (WHO) officially announced on Saturday the end of the second Ebola epidemic in Guinea, a few months after the reappearance of this disease, defeated in a few months thanks to the experience acquired in 2013-2016.

I have the honor to speak on this day of declaration of the end of the Ebola virus disease
" in Guinea, declared a WHO official, Alfred Ki-Zerbo, during a ceremony in Nzérékoré (South-East) where the disease reappeared at the end of January. Alfred Ki-Zerbo spoke in the presence of Guinean authorities including the Minister of Health.
