The police received a report at about 2:15 am today (20th) that the bar on the first floor of No. 10 Knutsford Terrace, Tsim Sha Tsui, was still open and suspected that someone had violated the gathering restriction order.

The police officers concealed the arrest of the 42-year-old male person in charge and issued fixed penalty notices to 26 customers present.

None of the men and women have been vaccinated against COVID-19, and the police issued a verbal warning to them.

The police said that a report was received at about 2:15 am today (June 20) that the bar on the first floor of No. 10 Knutsford Terrace, Tsim Sha Tsui, was still open and suspected that someone had violated the Disease Prevention and Control Regulation.

The Yau Tsim Police District Anti-Triad Action Team arrived at the scene and found that the bar upstairs was open.

Officers arrested a 42-year-old person in charge of Liu Nan, suspected of violating the Prevention and Control of Disease (Regulations and Instructions) (Business and Premises) Regulations (Chapter 599F) and the Prevention and Control of Diseases (Prohibition of Group Gathering) Regulations Example" (Chapter 599G).

The arrested male person in charge is now being detained for investigation.

Seventeen male customers and nine female customers in the bar were also suspected of violating the "Prevention and Control of Disease (Prohibition of Group Gathering) Regulations" (Chapter 599G), and the officers issued fixed penalty notices to them.

In addition, since none of the men and women were vaccinated against COVID-19, the police issued a verbal warning to them.

During the severe period of the epidemic, the police appealed to the public to take care of themselves and to strictly abide by the "Prevention and Control of Disease Ordinance" to help control the epidemic and reduce the risk of the spread of the virus in the community.
