An attack by a stranger on a 50-year-old man occurred late on Saturday evening around 11:40 p.m. in Ebersberg.

The police reported to Ebersberg.

The 50-year-old man was on his way home with his girlfriend after a night of partying, the two of them were walking through Paulhuberweg.

According to the officials, an unknown man followed them and repeatedly provoked the later victim, who, however, did not respond to the provocations.

It got to the point that the unknown perpetrator hit the 50-year-old man in the face with his fist.

As a result, he fell to the ground and briefly lost consciousness.

The unknown perpetrator was then able to flee.

The 50-year-old man had to be transported by rescue helicopter to a nearby hospital for treatment of his head injuries, which he suffered mainly from the fall.

According to the officials, there was no danger to life.

The reason for a dispute between the unknown perpetrator and the injured party is still unclear.

An immediate search for the unknown perpetrator by the Ebersberg police was negative.

The unknown perpetrator could only be described by uninvolved witnesses as follows: approx. 20 years old, approx. 180 cm tall, blonde hair, wearing a baseball cap, light outerwear and dark jeans.

The Ebersberg police have started investigations into dangerous bodily harm.
