There are about 580,000 ethnic minorities in Hong Kong, and a charity organization arranges 68 ethnic minorities to be vaccinated against the new crown, all of whom are Thai nationals.
The Secretary for Food and Health, Chen Zhaoshi, said that injections by ethnic minorities can help Hong Kong fight the epidemic and do its civic responsibility to jointly build an anti-epidemic barrier.
The Leshantang Li Yinyi Ethnic Group Minority Support Service Center has registered 76 ethnic minorities for online injections of the new crown vaccine in the past two weeks.
