Eng. Shaheen pointed out that the current line on the beach highway is 1,175 meters long, with reinforced concrete pipes with a diameter of 60 cm, about 1,000 meters have been completed so far. Possible depth as the line ends on one side to the lawn lifting station and on the other hand to the estuaries of the Naqiu area, with a depth of about three meters.

According to Shaheen, the other remaining part of the system project is the completion of the pumping line for the southern tourism station in the agricultural roundabout to the General Tobacco Corporation building with a length of between 300 and 400 meters, and with it, the entire project will be completed, and all the liquefaction lines and the ends of the pumping lines with pumping and lifting stations for the entire city of Lattakia will be completed. He indicated that the project aims to deliver sewage water to the entire neighborhoods of the city to the site of the treatment plant located in the Banda area on Shabtalia Road, which is contracted to be implemented with an Iranian company. The Ministry of Water Resources, in cooperation with the governorate and the concerned authorities, seeks to develop a treatment for price differences and directly give the company anew to take off the project. Create the station.

For his part, the head of the supervisory body at the General Company for Engineering Studies, Engineer Ibrahim Udayra, the project’s supervisor, indicated that the works are carried out in accordance with the required conditions, specifications, and plans, and were carried out after the topographical lifting of the road and making sure that the plans were in conformity with the plans, so that excavation work began according to the required levels, where the landfills and installation of pipes were used And making sure of its level with achieving the required inclination and the process of ringing to achieve complete impermeability of the connection.

Adeera indicated that the excavation products that are not suitable for backfill are immediately deported, after which the backfilling operations begin on layers with hydration and tamping according to the measurement of the line, up to the level required for the paving work, which is preceded by a layer of gusset with a thickness of 30 cm, followed by the paving process with a thickness of 10 cm.

Udeira stressed that the implementation of the project is accompanied by taking full public safety measures, including blocking the road in coordination with the Traffic Branch, setting indications and warning signs to avoid accidents, in addition to cleaning and restoring the road to what it was daily after completing each 50-meter distance, after which the road will be opened from New to facilitate vehicular traffic and maintain warning signs for drilling sites.
