Bundestag Vice President Claudia Roth has called for an independent study on right-wing extremism in the Bundestag police.
“We now need a full, non-suspicion investigation.

The problem with right-wing extremism in its own police force may have been underestimated in the Bundestag.
If police officers are suspected of being right-wing extremists, it is a danger, no matter where they work, said Roth.
"But in the Bundestag there must certainly not be the slightest suspicion that police officers, employees at the gates or in the visitor service have anti-constitutional tendencies."

Bundestag President Wolfgang Schäuble (CDU) had assured on Friday that the Bundestag administration would investigate "every indication of misconduct by employees, especially members of the police in the German Bundestag".
However, it was still a matter of examining individual cases and not a comprehensive investigation.
