Departmental elections in Val-de-Marne: candidates, results ... All you need to know to follow the first round

2021-06-25T09:51:56.817Z

The first round this Sunday is tight in the last department of France led by a communist president. Elected since 2001, Chr

This article will be updated regularly after the publication of the first results.

The essential

  • Organized in a context of health crisis, these departmental elections are held at the same time as the regional ones, which could create confusion among voters.

Some 786,000 voters are called to ballot until 8 p.m. in the 25 cantons.

Despite the violent storm on Saturday, the polling stations were able to open normally this Sunday morning.

  • The PCF is playing big this Sunday. Despite the reconquest of Villejuif, the last municipal elections were a blow with the loss of four municipalities: Valenton, Choisy-le-Roi, Villeneuve-Saint-Georges and Champigny-sur-Marne, the land of election of the outgoing president, Christian Favier. Despite his many calls to rally, the latter did not obtain for this first round a union of all the outgoing left (PCF, Left Front, LFI, PS and EELV). An agreement has generally been signed between Communists, Socialists, and rebels, united under the banner of "Val-de-Marne in common", but the ecologists, who have only one outgoing, present candidates in almost all the cantons . To convince voters, Christian Favier is counting on his record, in the aftermath of the health crisis.

  • Republicans, UDI and Free! united under the banner "Together New Years Eve Val-de-Marne" want to surf on the conquests of the last municipal to overthrow the last Communist department of France. The leader, Olivier Capitanio, at the head of the opposition group LR in the department and mayor of Maisons-Alfort, hopes to take his revenge compared to 2015, where victory had narrowly escaped. To achieve this, the right intends to take advantage of the concomitant campaign of Valérie Pécresse (Libres!) The outgoing president of the region, a favorite given.

  • The Republic on the move acts as a challenger in this election, absent six years ago from the political spectrum.

The presidential majority party associated with the MoDem and Territories of Progress has invested 21 teams and is aiming for the second round in as many cantons as possible to "continue its local roots".

  • The National Rally failed in 2015, still under the name of the National Front, to make its entry into the departmental assembly.

Will he achieve his goal this time?

Marine Le Pen's party is present in 17 out of 25 cantons.

  • At 5 p.m., according to the prefecture of Val-de-Marne, the participation rate was 23.42% (26.72% nationally).

At noon, it was 8.55% (10.45% in 2015).

In 2015, it was 49.91% in the first round, and 47.2% in the second.

The left united in the second round (PCF-Front de gauche-PS and EELV) had obtained 14 seats, against 11 for the right and the center (UMP, MoDem and UDI), which progressed by winning the cantons of L'Haÿ and Villeneuve -Saint Georges.

The forces present in the cantons of Val-de-Marne

Township n ° 1: Alfortville

.

The bonus for graduates should benefit the PS MP Isabelle Santiago and his socialist pair Mohamed Chikouche, in this stronghold.

Faced with this duo supported by the “Val-de-Marne en commun” platform, we find Céline Pires and Arsen Minasyan, supported by the right-wing and center platform “Together New Years Eve Val-de-Marne”.

Municipal opponents Yaëlle Reynaud (MoDem) and Vincent Mulier (LREM) are supported by the presidential majority.

The Ecologist Pole is represented by the 2nd deputy France Bernichi and the municipal councilor Raphaël Lévêque (EELV), La France insoumise by the municipal opponent Armelle Namy and Antoine Tredez.

The RN does not present or support any candidate here.

Canton n ° 2: Cachan.

Change in continuity? Hélène de Comarmond (PS) and Christian Métairie (EELV) do not represent themselves but dub their deputies to succeed them. The mayor of Cachan, candidate for the regional alongside Audrey Pulvar (SE), gives way to his 7th deputy Samuel Besnard, while the mayor of Arcueil, the only green elected official of the outgoing majority in the department, paves the way for Hélène Peccolo, his first assistant. Such is the pair supported by the PCF, the PS and the ecologists, despite two dissenting extreme left candidatures (Nicole Florence and Patrick Lubineau for the POID and the communist Carine Delahaie with Georges Thimothée, an elected member of the majority in Cachan). Besnard and Peccolo will also have in front of them a pair uniting the right and the center (Syndie Debarre and Baptiste Genies),an LREM duo (Erwan Calvez and Annie-Claire Auliard) as well as an RN application (Clémence Lequeux and David Dray).

Canton n ° 3: Champigny-sur-Marne 1.

The canton of Champigny 1 is particularly symbolic. Even if Laurent Jeanne, the new mayor Libres! de Champigny is only a substitute, he faces the current president of the department, Christian Favier (PCF). This canton, the two camps (on one side Together let's celebrate the Val-de-Marne and on the other Val-de-Marne together) think they have all their chances of winning it. He is one of the four that the right hopes to take away from the left to take the lead in Val-de-Marne. Only a year ago, the right ravished the city that the left had run for 70 years. Laurent Jeanne, the new mayor (Free!) Of Champigny, to whom he had only missed 451 votes in the departmental 2015, wants to believe it. He leaves substitute behind his assistant Michel Duvaudier in tandem with Catherine Mussotte-Guedj (Libres!). To the left, voters will find those they elected in 2015: Christian Favier (PCF) and Jeannick Le Lagadec (LFI). Remain Jean-Michel Schmitt, LREM candidate disappointed in the municipal elections and who did not ask for the label again, in duet with Nouhad Probst - El Hafni. The RN presents Sylvie Bergereau and Georges Peixoto. Usually tense in the town, the campaign has become downright hateful this past week, with an accumulation of leaflets and even the appearance of a mysterious "collective of taxpayers".the campaign has become outright hateful this past week, with an accumulation of leaflets and even the appearance of a mysterious "collective of taxpayers".the campaign has become outright hateful this past week, with an accumulation of leaflets and even the appearance of a mysterious "collective of taxpayers".

Canton n ° 4: Champigny-sur-Marne 2.

The second part of Champigny, associated here with Chennevières, had voted on the left in the previous election. This time, the canton beats the record for the number of candidates with eight lists and almost as many cases of dissent! The outgoing Alain Audhéon (PCF) teams up with Chrysis Caporal. The former elected ecologist of the majority in the city of Champigny, on the other hand, is not entitled to the EELV label. Departmental Councilor since 2001, Marie Kennedy, less present for health reasons, has given way. Opposite them are the mayor of Chennevières Jean-Pierre Barnaud (UDI) and Geneviève Carpe (Libres!), Health assistant for the city of Champigny, for Ensemble reveils the Val-de-Marne. Six other pairs hope to surprise by qualifying for the second round. Among them are in particular Mamadou Sy,former elected citizen of Champigny, who is leaving with the support of EELV. His good score in the first round of municipal elections in Champigny (10.39%) had pushed him to ally himself in the second round with Christian Fautré, without winning.

Canton n ° 5: Charenton-le-Pont.

The canton of Charenton is not the one where the most surprises are expected.

The mayor of the town and already departmental councilor Hervé Gicquel (LR) presents himself again in the name of Ensemble Eveillons le Val-de-Marne.

He is in tandem with Chantal Durand (LR), also already elected.

In front of them the current majority presents the duo Tiffany Farley (PCF) and João Martins Pereira (PS).

The presidential majority is present with Samia Camara (LREM) and Didier Imbert (LREM), unlike the National Gathering, which is not represented in the ballot in this canton.

Voters will also have the choice with two other lists, environmentalist and citizen on the one hand and extreme right on the other.

Canton n ° 6: Choisy-le-Roi.

It is one of the cantons "in danger" which could switch from left to right. While the two outgoing FG and PCF do not represent themselves, the right hopes to surf on its victories in the municipal elections of 2020 where the PCF mayor of Choisy, Didier Guillaume was dethroned by the DVD Tonino Panetta, candidate for the departmental with Kristell Niasme (LR ), the 1st assistant and partner of Philippe Gaudin (DVD), the mayor of Villeneuve-Saint-Georges who also took over the town from the Communists last year. The RN, which obtained 2nd place in the first round in 2015 in this canton, aligns its candidates (Dominique Vachelot and Antoine Ghaye), LREM also (Amandine Mackako and Riantsoa Robinson) and a DVD duo is also trying its luck (Andrée Ratovonony and Yves Peryagh). But the left is launching itself with a major asset: unity. Indeed, the PCF, LFI,the PS and the environmentalist pole support Katiana René (citizen presented by the PCF) and Robin Albert (LFI), two candidates from the field.

Canton n ° 7: Créteil-1.

In this left-wing stronghold, it is a duo of socialists who are supported here by the Val-de-Marne platform in common. The deputy Josette Sol, outgoing departmental councilor, is associated with a new face: Antoine Pelissolo. The first deputy mayor of Créteil, and head of department in the psychiatry center of the CHU Henri-Mondor (AP-HP) will thus prove himself in this election. He who appears to some as the possible successor of Laurent Cathala. He thus replaces the outgoing socialist Abraham Johnson who does not represent himself.

Aurore Moutomé and Sylvain Thézard, unsuccessful municipal candidate last year, have the support of LR, UDI and Libres!

But will the danger come from the duo supported by the presidential majority?

The deputy Jean-François Mbaye (LREM) who conquered the socialist constituency in 2017, leaves with Imane Idrissi.

EELV also has its candidates (Brigitte Laude and Abdoulbar Djaffar).

Béatrice Pinat, particularly involved in the battles around education and Xavier Chemla are supported by LFI, Martine Damien and Frédéric Mangin by the POID (independent democratic workers' party).

Here again, the RN, however long present in the city-prefecture, does not present a candidate.

Canton n ° 8: Créteil-2.

The pillars of the outgoing majority, the vice-presidents Brigitte Jeanvoine (related to the PS) who finally resurfaces, and Bruno Hélin (PS) face Gabriela Drevenak and the municipal opponent Bruno Kerisit (LR), supported by the platform Together wake up the Val de Marne. Evelyne Leaune-Velluet and Mehmet Ceylan, both LREM, present themselves with the support of LREM, Modem and Territoires de Progrès. The latter appeared in the Cristolian political landscape during the last municipal elections. Sylvie Ané (EELV) and David Cousy (EELV), who led the For Ecology Créteil list in common during the municipal elections of 2020, represent the Ecologist Pole, Marie-Noëlle Bertrand and Eric Tricot, figure of the Sud-Santé union in the Henri-Mondor hospital, La France insoumise. The latter also appears on the list of Clémentine Autain (LFI) in the regional. Marine Le Pen's party has no candidate in this canton.

Canton n ° 9: Fontenay-sous-Bois.

Four lists are aligned on the start in this canton largely made up of Fontenay-sous-Bois and a piece of Vincennes. The outgoing departmental councilor Sokona Niakhate (Left Front) leaves this time with Franck Mora (PCF), deputy mayor, under the banner “Val-de-Marne in common”. His ex-partner, a figure on Fontenay, and vice-president of the department, Gilles Saint-Gal, does not represent himself. The union of all the successful left in the municipal elections in Fontenay was not possible this time. The ecologists are leaving for their part, represented by Agnès Colonval and Bernard Thoreau. On the right, we find Céline Martin and Gautier Brodéo for the list “Together New Years Eve Val-de-Marne”. The presidential majority aligns the municipal opponent Chantal Cazals and Vihi Kirmen.

Canton n ° 10: L'Haÿ-les-Roses.

Is the configuration of the union of the left favorable in the canton of L'Haÿ-Fresnes, as recently estimated by the first federal PS of the department? Who to succeed Fernand Berson (LR) and Frédérique Pradier (SE), the outgoing ones who do not represent themselves? Four pairs emerged. In tandem with Mélanie Nowak, deputy mayor at L'Haÿ, the elected opposition member in Fresnes Antoine Madelin (LR-Libres!), A close friend of the mayor Vincent Jeanbrun (Libres!). Which provides support, as an alternate, with Betty Adda, former running mate of Richards Domps, candidate for the last municipal elections and elected (ex-PS). On the left, therefore, while the mayor of Fresnes Marie Chavanon, did not go, it is Rachida Sadane (PS) and Sophian Moualhi (DVG), elected since last year in L'Haÿ, who are in lice, with the support of EELV. Another pair,Stéphane Aubergeon and Célia Gatelier, supported by the République en Marche. Finally, the RN has invested in this canton Régine Bourgarel and Ugo Iannuzi.

Canton n ° 11: Ivry-sur-Seine.

He was tipped to succeed Christian Favier one day at the head of the department, but Pascal Savoldelli (PCF) elected senator in 2017, does not stand for re-election. Who to succeed him? Lamya Kirouani (PCF) represents herself. She was his partner since 2015 at the departmental council and this time leaves with Nicolas Bescond. In front of them, three pairs, each with an elected official from Ivry. This is the case of the assistant Sabrina Sebaihi, co-responsible for EELV in Val-de-Marne, who is leaving in duo with Jacques Tran. But also Sébastien Bouillaud (LR), elected in the opposition since last year, who presents himself with Emilie Jean, who appeared on his Ivry list otherwise. Sheerazed Boulkroun, elected LREM in Ivry, goes in tandem with Azad Houssain. Finally, as in 2015, Marine le Pen's party invested a pair: Francis Plainchant and Wenqi Cui.

Canton n ° 12: The Kremlin-Bicêtre.

Six lists are on the way. Like an air of deja vu from the municipal elections in the Kremlin, since canceled. The ballot left traces, and many divisions. No wonder to find many candidates already appeared in March 2020 in the Kremlin-Bicêtre, who hope to overthrow the duo of the outgoing majority, Fatiha Aggoune (PCF) and Ibrahima Traoré (FG). Who can count on LFI (Rim Yehya is on reserve). On the other hand, the ecologists leave for their part, with Kamel Boufraine, deputy to the current mayor of the Kremlin-Bicêtre Jean-Luc Laurent (MRC) and Sophie Guillemain, ex-elected of Gentilly, supported in deputy by Nadine Herrati, the co-responsible of EELV in Val-de-Marne. Former mayor Jean-Marc Nicolle (ex-MRC) is also represented by relatives: Jean-François Banbuck leaves with Maeva Hartmann. But the right and the center leave here divided, unlike the rest of the department. Former LR candidate Benoît Crespin, now without a label, joins forces with Marion Mazières. Laid Hadjidj and Barbara Pompignac go it together. While the presidential majority is represented by Nadia Chiboub (MoDem) and Cédric Thépaut (LREM).

Canton n ° 13:

Maisons-Alfort.

Republicans are confident. Their leader and mayor Olivier Capitanio had been reelected in the first round in the last municipal and departmental elections in 2015. With the “Together New Years Eve Val-de-Marne” team, he set out again fully determined to conquer the department, with always in his hands. alongside his deputy and outgoing advisor Mary-France Parrain (LR). But the new boss of MoDem 94, Thomas Maubert, his opponent already in the municipal elections, intends to score in the name of the presidential majority, highlighting with his partner France Savelli, his availability. The left which had known how to unite with the municipal ones, leaves for its part divided: with a socialist binomial, the municipal opponent Cécile Panassac and Etienne Bouché, an environmentalist binomial formed by the elected municipal Bernard Bouché and Célia Le Roux, and finally a communist duo Florence Grosclaude and Alexandre Ceray. Finally, note the presence of the POID with Vanessa Lanteri, already there in the municipal elections, and Michaël Mourlin.

Canton n ° 14: Nogent-sur-Marne.

Déborah Münzer (Agir) and Paul Bazin (LR), in the team of “Together wake up the Val-de-Marne”, should not have too much to worry about. Candidates for re-election, they had totaled in 2015, 43.51% of the votes in the first round. At the time, the union of the left, which came second, totaled just over 17%. Celia Rives (PS) and Mathieu Moriamez (EELV), for the list "Val-de-Marne in common", will try to pull out of the game despite everything, while in the center, the presidential majority is represented by the duo formed by Nadine Ret (LREM), former legislative candidate and Marc Boniface (MoDem), and the Radical Movement by Karim Ferhi and Coralie Cornu. The National Rally invites itself into this right-wing stronghold, with Isabelle Huguemin-Richard and Claude Lobry.

Canton n ° 15: Orly.

The right had narrowly missed its goal in 2015, losing by 76 votes. Orly-Villeneuve-le-Roi is one of the strategic cantons of Val-de-Marne for the maintenance of the department to the left or its shift to the right. Didier Gonzales (LR not invested) dreams of debunking the outgoing pair formed by the mayor of Orly Christine Janodet (Left citizen) and the vice-president of the department Daniel Guérin (MRC), both in place since 2008. There will be it this time? The two exits were not invested by the platform "Val-de-Marne in common" of Communist President Christian Favier. What is more, they have to face the candidacy of a PCF activist, Adji Touré, and Gilles Vosgien (LFI), supported by Christian Favier's team. There remains the unknown RN, who aligns the pair Nina Smarandi and Alain Conclois, and hopes to get their hands on this canton, where the party came out on top in the Europeans.

Canton n ° 16: Briard plateau.

Faced with Karine Bastier, outgoing departmental councilor, and Patrick Farcy, the mayor (UDI related) of Villecresnes, no candidate of the presidential majority, but an RN pair made up of regional councilor Gorete Varandas and Laurent Jolly. The left presents itself in a scattered manner in this large canton in the south-east of Val-de-Marne. Between the duo Myriam Lambert (PCF) and Martial Prouheze (LFI), the one formed by Marie Belpois (EELV) and Guillaume Poiret (GE), ex-elected in Villeneuve-Saint-Georges, supported by the Ecologist Pole, or the ticket PS with the chief of staff of the mayor of Boissy-Saint-Léger, Cécile Marchetti and the 2nd deputy mayor of Boissy Fabrice Nicolas. Finally, the POID is also present with Katherine Ternet and André Yon.

Canton n ° 17: Saint-Maur-des-Fossés 1.

The canton of Saint-Maur 1, made up only of districts of the city, is not one of those which should switch. Very anchored to the right, the city will find in the ballot box the bulletin of Laurence Coulon (LR) already outgoing departmental councilor and deputy mayor, in tandem with Germain Roesch (LR), also deputy mayor of Saint-Maur. Faced with them, the left is very divided. The candidates of "Val-de-Marne in common" are Claudine Clerbout, communist activist and Laurent Havre (DVG), already candidate for the last departmental and municipal. The second round could deal with the Green candidates, now identified in Saint-Maur as the city's first opposition force. Céline Vercelloni, head of the EELV list last year, obtained almost 28% of the votes in the second round, during a quadrangular with LREM and a right diverse candidate. This time around, she teams up with Téo Faure, also elected in opposition to the city.

The PS also presents two candidates, who were on Laurent Havre's municipal list: Sonia Zamai and Jean-Louis Barthélémy.

La République en Marche hopes to score well with his partner Pierre Jarrossay and Déborah Wargon.

Even if the campaign of the latter, sister-in-law of Minister Emmanuelle Wargon, was partly impacted by the government's decision to regain control of building permits in Saint-Maur to increase the number of social housing.

The arrival on several occasions during the campaign of Emmanuelle Wargon on the ground did not go smoothly.

The National Rally, it presents its departmental secretary Gaëtan Dussausaye with Annie Dubernard and hopes for a presence in the second round.

Canton n ° 18: Saint-Maur-des-Fossés 2.

Not easy for the candidates of Saint-Maur 2 to meet the expectations of the inhabitants of Saint-Maur, Ormesson and Sucy, rather on the right, as much as those of Bonneuil, who have voted overwhelmingly Communist for years! The division of this canton, which remains the largest and most populous in Val-de-Marne, suggests that the outgoing departmental councilors and new candidates Marie-Christine Ségui (LR) and Daniel Amsler (LR) have not too much to worry about. Faced with the mayor of Ormesson and the deputy mayor for finances of Sucy, Eliane Simon (EELV) and Denis Öztorun, PCF mayor of Bonneuil, are very proud to have succeeded in this canton the gathering of all the left. Two centrist candidates also present themselves: Lucie Astic (Modem) and Jean-Pierre Cormier (LREM). The National Gathering, who intends to mobilize around Isabelle Gros and Jean-Pierre Cassou, should dispute with the candidates of the left gathered a place in the second round.

Canton n ° 19: Thiais.

Nicolas Tryzna and Patricia Korchef-Lambert, the two outgoing LR advisers, will they be leaving for a new term? The elected representative of Thiais, deputy secretary of the Republicans in Val-de-Marne, and the first deputy mayor of Rungis, dream of no longer acting in the opposition of the departmental council but in his majority by participating in the shift to the right of the local instance. The left plays the union against them by relying on an EELV-PCF ticket with Laurence Le Souffaché, ex-candidate for municipal elections in Thiais, and Renaud Roux, deputy to the communist mayor of Chevilly-Larue. Béatrice Willem (LREM), unsuccessful candidate for the last municipal elections in Rungis, tries her luck with Yacine Ladjici (Territories of Progress, the left wing of LREM), elected in opposition to Chevilly-Larue.

Canton n ° 20: Villejuif.

Observers gladly present this election in the canton of Villejuif as the third round of the last municipal elections in Villejuif, marked by the victory of Pierre Garzon (PCF), against the outgoing mayor (then LR) Franck Le Bohellec. One thing is certain: this canton will be particularly scrutinized on this Sunday with a more than uncertain outcome. In addition to the pair of outgoing departmental advisers, Pierre Garzon and his comrade Flore Munck (PCF), backed by the “Val-de-Marne in common” platform, we therefore find Franck Le Bohellec (now Free!) And the centrist Christel Esclangon. They can count on the support of LR, the UDI, Libres !, but also the Modem, LREM and Territoires de Progrès. And hope to take advantage of the division on the left. The Ecologist Pole is represented by Fabienne Schouler (EELV) competing with the PS Pierre Bouget, which does not have the nomination of his party. With Anne Le Henanff and Pierre Fouchard, the RN also wants to believe in it.

Canton n ° 21: Villeneuve-Saint-Georges.

This canton had changed during the last departmental, conquered by the mayor (LR) of Limeil-Brévannes, Françoise Lecoufle, and the opponent to Valenton Métin Yavuz (today LR). Since then, the first has been re-elected mayor and the second took the reins of the town hall of Valenton in May 2020 after more than 100 years of communism. The two departmental advisers seem to start off in a good position. Especially since the left is divided. Krystel Calvier and Emmanuel Mbedey form the PCF-PS ticket supported by the “Val-de-Marne en Commun” platform. Tania Nioka (EELV), ex-acolyte of the former PCF mayor Sylvie Altman in Villeneuve-Saint-Georges now elected opposition, goes alongside Guillaume Ahizi-Elliam (SE), who tried his luck in the municipal elections in Valenton . But an RN pair, formed by Catherine Chaput and Jean-Jacques Lejemble, former municipal opponent to Limeil hope to be in the second round, in this canton where voters, Villeneuve side, are often tempted by the lepéniste ballot.

Canton n ° 22: Villiers-sur-Marne.

Can this canton straddling the municipalities of Villiers-sur-Marne and Plessis-Trévise fall back into the hands of the PS? The right has played strategic by aligning Jacques-Alain Benisti (LR), the mayor of Villiers, extremely well established and the outgoing councilor, Sabine Patoux (ex MoDem become Libres!), Elected at Plessis. Because this canton is one of those targeted by the RN. This is where the far-right party has its only elected municipal officer Alain Philippet, based in Plessis, who is setting out to conquer a seat in the department with Grâce Martinot. In 2015, the FN had achieved more than 22% of the votes. What is more, the presidential majority presents Alexis Maréchal, first deputy (MoDem) in Plessis, centrist land, and Sandra Reviriego (LREM), elected in Villiers. The left, for its part, is divided: with on one side, the long-standing municipal opponent in Villiers, Frédéric Massot (PS), in tandem with Elise Dehaut (EELV) and on the other, Mirabelle Lemaire (LFI) and Jérémy Legros (Villiers to come).

Canton n ° 23: Vincennes.

Julien Weil had entered the departmental council in 2015, as the youngest, at the height of his 27 years. Since then, he has taken the reins of the town hall of Saint-Mandé and is leaving this time with Odile Seguret (UDI), under the banner of “Together, let's celebrate the Val-de-Marne”. A rather confident duo, in this so-called right-wing canton, divided between Vincennes and Saint-Mandé. Facing them, the presidential majority party with Jessica Perniceni (Modem) and Damien Caparros (LREM), hopes to score. But the voices in the center could disperse, with the presence of the pair Danielle Baïche (Radical movement) and Luc Alonso (Centrist Alliance). The National Rally is present, with Nouria Taleb and Gauthier Delmas. On the left, Annick Le Calvez (PS) and David Dawood, (CIt), hope to do as in 2015:the PS list had totaled just under 21%. But voices might be missing. Cap Ecologie presents the elected municipal officer of Saint-Mandé, Tony Renault and Amina Bouatlaoui Dehbi.

Canton n ° 24: Vitry-sur-Seine 1.

In the northern canton of Vitry, will Marie-Albert Jules-Rosette (PCF) win her place as a departmental elected representative for the next six years? In tandem with Lauranne Esseul, the latter was the substitute for Pierre Bell-Lloch, elected mayor of Vitry in July, replaced after his departure from the departmental authority. In this key canton, it has the support of the “Val-de-Marne en commun” team, led by Christian Favier. This is not the case with the former mayor (PCF) of Vitry Jean-Claude Kennedy, who nevertheless dissented from Isabelle Lorand to "restore legitimacy to the municipal vote". The right (Alain Afflatet and Céline Lim), LREM (Bernadette Hérault and Kamale Sobhi) and the Fabrique Vitry in better allied to EELV (Frédéric Bourdon and Naïga Stefel) all hope to profit from the dissensions which persist between the Communists.

Canton n ° 25: Vitry-sur-Seine 2.

They evoke a "balance sheet of pride", and the support of Christian Favier's team, in this canton of Vitry watched very closely. Hocine Tmimi and Evelyne Rabardel (PCF) leave, and will face a duo of the municipal majority of Pierre Bell-Lloch, Laurence Jeanne (PCF) and Shamime Attar (PS). But in this canton as in that of Vitry 1, the left is nevertheless divided. Here too, EELV - La Fabrique Vitry is hoping to do better. On the right, new figures have appeared in this sector with Jocelyne Faillon in tandem with Mamedi Diarra, elected UDI at Vincennes. They are supported by the “Together Eve Val-de-Marne” team. POID and RN are also represented there.
