An exceptionally good year has now passed in Waldram: The grade point average was 2.8.
Nine graduates have a one before the decimal point.
Waldram
- "Despite all the Corona obstacles, that was one of the best years we have ever had here," said senior school coordinator Stefan Feistl, happily summarizing the year of high school graduation.
Of the 43 Q 12 graduates, nine have a one in front of the decimal point.
None of the students did worse than with a grade of 2.9.
The overall average was a remarkable 2.28.
In view of a period of suffering during the pandemic that was characterized by distance learning and the requirement to wear a mask, Stefan Feistl wished the young women and men every success before they start their new phase of life.
"It can only get looser now," he assured me.
For Lena Buhl, who grew up in Leipheim near Ulm, it is now time to relax.
“I want to study psychology or communication sciences,” revealed the 24-year-old.
With her average grade of 1.3, she has a good chance of getting a place in Munich.

Andreas Weigert is also hoping for this. The 19-year-old Dietramszeller wants to study mathematics and sport to become a teacher. But now there is something else to do: “I still want to finish the competition season in the 3,000, 5,000 and 10,000 meter races,” explained the ambitious competitive athlete.
Michael Ebner also finished with a 1.2 cut.
"I would never have expected that," said the Landshut man modestly.
The fact that he ended up moving from Lower Bavaria to Waldram in Upper Bavaria was thanks to the recommendation of his girlfriend's father.
"He graduated here many years ago and could only report good things: St. Matthias was a stroke of luck for me," said Ebner enthusiastically.
Now the 25-year-old wants to start studying psychology just like Lena Buhl.
First of all, Ebner decides to rest for a few months.
Because despite the pleasant learning environment, he also described the last year as "exhausting".

After the three best of the year and their classmates had received their certificates, there was only one option for the rest of the hot Friday afternoon: cooling off heads and bodies on the nearby banks of the Isar.
