In the letter, the personalities said that members of the Global Alliance of Civil Society, business leaders, artists, religious and political leaders and Nobel laureates call on the United States to act and help end the Israeli hegemony and oppression of the Palestinian people.
The letter explained that the occupation forces and settlers continue their practices and violations against the Palestinians, especially in Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque, noting that there is a very wide gap between the statements of the US administration that focus on protecting human rights and the daily life of the Palestinians, which requires the current administration to exert pressure to end the Israeli violations.
