Tehran-Sana
Today, the Iranian Electricity Distribution Company "Tanir" announced the closure of the Bushehr nuclear plant facility "an emergency for a period of four days at the highest."
And Iranian television quoted Gholam Ali Rakhshani Mehr, deputy coordinator of the Iranian company, as saying that the Bushehr nuclear power plant was forced out of the electricity generation network.
Rakhshani Mehr pointed out that the power plant's interruption began yesterday and will last between 3 and 4 days, which will cause a shortage of electricity production by a thousand megawatts.
Last March, Iran indicated that the station could stop operating due to the inability to purchase spare parts and equipment for it from abroad due to the banking sanctions imposed by Washington on Tehran in 2018.
