At noon, the Île-de-France region had the lowest participation rate in the country, with 8.47%. At 5 p.m., it caught up well with 21.97%. For a simple reason: generally, in large cities, voters vote later ... It is now the Grand Est region which has the worst turnout, with 21.73%.
On the contrary, Corsica retains its status as the best participant in the poll with a score of 47.31%, almost twice the national average (26.72%). Occitanie (31.71%) and Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur (30.64%), to which all eyes are particularly turned, complete the participation podium.
