Holzkirchen - Because the Holzkirchen Middle School is being replaced by a new building, the students have to cram in an interim building during the construction phase.
The Holzkirchen building committee now cleared the way for the construction of this building.
The interim building is to be built on a meadow around 200 meters south of the current middle school. The zoning plan actually provides for a residential area there, explained Sandra Weinmann (Bauamt-Verwaltung Holzkirchen) to the municipal councils. In terms of building law, however, it is still possible to build a school building as a so-called “other project” with a cultural purpose. One of the prerequisites is that no public interests are impaired by the construction. Weinmann regards this condition as fulfilled.
The prescribed development is also secured, in this case this is done via Baumgartenstrasse. And 17 car parking spaces have been planned. If necessary, they could be supplemented by five more parking spaces. Effects on nature are also not to be feared, said Weinmann: The area will be used again for agricultural purposes once the new building has been completed. The municipality that appears as the applicant is exempted from the requirement to cover the bicycle parking spaces. In addition, the fence that delimits the interim school area will be 1.50 meters and thus 40 centimeters higher than provided for by the enclosure statutes. Without further discussion and unanimously, the committee members gave their consent to the building application.
