One person was killed and five others were injured in a shooting in Oakland, northern California, USA.
"One person was killed and five others were injured yesterday when gunmen opened fire on a crowd of 1,000 people who had gathered in Lake Merritt, Auckland, to celebrate the anniversary of the end of slavery," the East Bay Times newspaper quoted Oakland police as saying, noting that two gunmen were arrested in connection with the case and that investigations Underway to find out the circumstances.
