Three men, who had been taken into custody as part of the illegal free party in Redon (Ille-et-Vilaine), will appear before the criminal court for "
violence against a person holding public authority
", announced on Sunday evening the public prosecutor of Rennes, Philippe Astruc.

One of them, born in 1984 and living in Orne, was imprisoned "
in execution of two sentences of 6 and 2 months of imprisonment pronounced previously
", indicated Mr. Astruc. He is accused, like two other young people born in 1998 and 2002, of "
violence against a person holding public authority
" and "
participation with weapon in a crowd after being ordered to disperse
".
A man born in 2001 is summoned to him before the criminal court to answer for the facts of participation "
with weapon in a gathering after summons to disperse and rebellion
". Finally two other participants in the free party were the subject of a reminder to the law, for "
participation without weapon in a gathering after summons to disperse
".
Regarding the investigation into the circumstances in which a young man of 22 years lost a hand during the night from Friday to Saturday, Philippe Astruc indicates this investigation is continuing, while the victim still hospitalized, could not yet be heard .
Six people in total had been taken into custody on Saturday, five during the night's clashes and one during the intervention of the police to end the rave.

After violent clashes in the night from Friday to Saturday between gendarmes and revelers, Redon's free party in tribute to young Steve, who died in Nantes during the Fête de la Musique, two years ago, had ended with the evacuation of participants by the police. The free party brought together up to 1,500 participants and mobilized some 400 gendarmes and CRS.
