The trial of the Carrousel terrorist opens

On February 3, 2017, an Egyptian attacked Sentinel soldiers patrolling the Louvre in Paris with a machete.



The Islamist attack on February 3, 2017, was the first in a series of six attacks perpetrated that year against the internal security forces (police, gendarmes, Sentinel soldiers).

Abdallah el-Hamahmi, 33-year-old Egyptian, appears from Monday until June 24, before the specially composed assize court.
