Several young people celebrated on Saturday evening after the grades were announced at the Birkenweg bathing area on Lake Wörthsee, and they disturbed some residents.
Steinebach - The Abitur grades are fixed, the pressure and sometimes the burden of twelve or more years of school are gone - time for a boisterous celebration. Around 150 young people, mostly high school graduates, therefore met on Saturday evening at the Birkenweg bathing area on Lake Wörth. However, residents felt disturbed in their peace and quiet and therefore notified the police. The Herrsching inspection patrols had been on site several times between 9.45 p.m. and 2 a.m., reports the deputy head of department Tobias Hollaus when asked by the Starnberger Merkur - especially since another youth group had joined in the course of the evening. The young people were asked to be quieter and music systems turned down or switched off completely. In the end, they were asked to leave the meadow next to "Il Kiosko".Similar missions had already taken place on Friday evening when around 40 young people met on the meadow and stood together in small groups.
Police Chief Commissioner Hollaus has words of praise ready for the young people: "Basically, they showed themselves to be insightful and cooperative with the police," he writes in his press report. “The currently applicable regulations of the Bavarian infection protection measures were largely complied with.” This assessment is in line with the perceptions of the private security service employed by the municipality of Wörthsee. Mayor Christel Muggenthal said he had the situation “quite well under control,” when asked. She understands when young people want to celebrate, but asked for consideration and that they do not go to the playground.
