A child was killed and two others were injured when a mine was planted by SDF militiamen, while they were fortifying their positions and headquarters in the vicinity of Tal Tamer northwest of Hasaka
Civil sources in the area told SANA that a landmine exploded in the village of Al-Farahiya, affiliated to Tel Tamer sub-district, in Hasaka countryside, killing a 6-year-old child and injuring his 9-year-old sister and 7-year-old cousin.
A medical source told SANA reporter that the two children were placed in the intensive care unit, as they were severely injured by shrapnel in different parts of the body.
Two children were martyred and three girls were seriously injured on the fourteenth of this month, as a result of the explosion of a landmine that the “Qasd” militia had planted earlier while they were fortifying their positions and headquarters in the city of Al-Malikiyah in the Hasaka countryside.
In earlier times, the SDF militiamen planted hundreds of mines in various places around their headquarters and sites, as part of fortifying these sites after the escalation of operations targeting them in recent months, which resulted in the killing and wounding of hundreds of them on the Syrian island.
