Claudette regained strength as a tropical storm this Monday, according to the National Hurricane Center update at 5 a.m. ET.
Tropical Storm Claudette is located about 105 km east-southeast of Raleigh, North Carolina, and has 40 mph winds with stronger gusts.
These strongest winds are found mainly offshore, southeast of Claudette's eye.
Claudette would cause flash floods.
