Damascus-SANA
Palestinian Ahmed Jibril Faris Jibril continues for the twelfth consecutive day his hunger strike in front of the office of the United Nations Children's Fund "UNICEF" in the Mezzeh area of Damascus in protest against the US and Turkish occupation of some Syrian lands and their theft of its natural resources.
In a statement to SANA's reporter, Jibril indicated that his strike, which comes to demand the need to lift the unjust siege on the Syrian people, will end tomorrow morning, because its aim is to draw the attention of the international community and warn against the continuation of the American and Turkish occupations that rob the Syrian resources of fuel, wheat and others, stressing the return again because Syria deserves Make every precious thing, for it is the last fortress of resistance
On the experience of the 12-day strike, Jibril explained that the experience was in several stages, the most difficult of which was the first three days suffering from hunger, but the people’s support and solidarity with him gave him impetus and support to continue, calling on young people to express their rejection of the American and Turkish occupations and their practices through various types of rejection and through the strike that delivers what he wants of messages to the world.
