The environmental candidate has announced that he will lead a joint list with those of his former opponents Audrey Pulvar and Clémentine Autain.

It was an essential condition if she wants to hope to win next Sunday.

As expected, the left will leave well united in the second round of regional elections in Île-de-France, announced early Monday afternoon the environmental candidate Julien Bayou.

His list - which obtained 12.8% of the vote - will therefore merge with that of the PS, led by Audrey Pulvar, and that of La France insoumise et des communistes, led by Clémentine Autain.

These obtained, respectively, 11.07 and 10.34% of the vote.

“That's it, we are united with Audrey Pulvar and Clémentine Autain for ecology and solidarity in Ile-de-France!

", Said on Twitter the national secretary of EELV.

Change is at hand.

Arrived at the negotiating table in the middle of the night, in the wake of the announcement of the results, the three candidates reached an agreement at midday that they will present during a joint trip to Aubervilliers (Seine-Saint -Denis) this Monday at the end of the afternoon.

What common program?

The main question around this agreement concerns free transport, a flagship and "non-negotiable" measure of Audrey Pulvar to which Julien Bayou was opposed.

Clémentine Autain promised free education for those under 25 and all beneficiaries of social minima.

Four candidates will therefore be present in the second round: Valérie Pécresse (largely leading with 35.94% of the vote in the first round), Julien Bayou, Jordan Bardella (RN, 13.12%) and Laurent Saint-Martin (LREM, 11 , 76%).

In 2015, the elected right had delighted the region to the PS after a triangular with the FN, now RN.

The presence of LREM could this time cost him precious votes.
