Concerts with standing public will again be authorized in France from June 30, announced Monday the Minister of Culture Roselyne Bachelot, after a meeting at the Elysee with professionals in the sector.
This kind of event had not taken place since March 2020.
75% indoor, 100% outdoor gauges
The government has decided to
"reopen standing concerts from June 30 (...) with a 75% gauge in indoor establishments, and 100% outdoors"
, the minister said at a press conference. . Roselyne Bachelot also specified that wearing a mask will not be compulsory. On the other hand, access to nightclubs will be subject to the health passport, to be completed via the Tous Anti-Covid application.
The sanitary protocol has been relaxed for several days. Last week, the minister announced in particular that mini-concerts would be allowed in bars and restaurants during the Music Festival on June 21. The discotheques, whose fate was also mentioned in the morning, will be able to reopen from July 9, according to the same filling procedures, also announced the Minister for small and medium-sized enterprises, Alain Griset.
