Aleppo, SANA- The activities of the second phase of the small industrial project, which is being held by the Businesswomen’s Committee in the city of Aleppo, started today

Today, the activities of the second phase of the small industrial project, which is being held by the Businesswomen’s Committee in the Aleppo Chamber of Industry, began in cooperation with the Aleppo Education Directorate, with the participation of more than 50 students who completed the first phase.

The industrialist Osama Khoja, a member of the Board of Directors of the Aleppo Chamber of Industry, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the project aims to prepare an industrial generation capable of continuing work and production and contributing to maintaining the distinguished position of the Syrian industry, noting the efforts made by the Chamber of Industry to activate the training and qualification process and raise efficiency and production skills.

In turn, Eng. Mustafa Abdel-Ghani, Assistant Director of Education for Technical and Vocational Education Affairs, stated that the project constitutes a rich opportunity to enhance the skills and capabilities of technical and vocational education students, and to see in the field the mechanism of work in factories and production lines for the food, engineering, textile and chemical industries, and the formation of a nucleus for distinguished industrialists who are able to lead the industry in the future.

For her part, Engineer Annie Markossian, head of the Businesswomen’s Committee in the Aleppo Chamber of Industry, indicated that 50 male and female students who participated in the first phase of the project and have proven competence and ability to learn and committed to training were selected. They were divided into two groups to receive lectures and theoretical information in the fields of industry, communication skills and entrepreneurship. Time management and field visits to laboratories and industrial facilities to enhance theoretical experiences in the process, direct training, and develop the industrial work spirit of the trainees.

For her part, trainer Mariana Al-Hanash pointed out that she provides and trains participants on life skills, communication and time management to enable them to deal with other professors and audiences in society.

The trainee Saeed Sabbagh explained that he acquires knowledge through life skills training and increases his practical experience, and this was confirmed by the trainee Mais Al-Nour, who loves the profession of embroidery, sewing and sweets making as she works to enhance her knowledge that she obtained in the first phase of the project.
